The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Bellahouston Park is opening its doors for the annual Christmas Fayre on Sunday 29 November 2021.

Following the disappointment of having to cancel last year’s Fayre due to lockdown restrictions, the hospice is delighted to be able to open its doors to loyal supporters once more.

More than 20 stall holders will be setting up shop for the day in the hospice, offering a huge array of Christmas gifts and treats. Patrons will be able to browse flowers, sweet treats, artwork, ornaments, craft jewellery, beauty products and Christmas decorations to name a few.

Kids will have their own fun with face painting, a Santa’s Grotto and an Elves hideaway. In addition to the hospice café where people will be able to buy hot drinks and snacks, we will also have a barbeque offering up hotdogs and burgers.

At the end of the Fayre, the enormous Christmas tree in the grounds of the hospice will be lit up marking the start of the festive season.

Rhona Baillie, Chief Executive of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, said: “We are very happy to be able to open the hospice up again for our annual Christmas Fayre. It is such a special time of year and we welcome the opportunity to have our supporters with us to celebrate and enjoy a happy occasion.

“Our staff and volunteers enjoy the Fayre and normally we are all rushed off our feet, it is definitely one of the highlights of the hospice year. We would love as many people as possible to visit us.

“The Fayre also helps raise vital funds for the hospice, which relies on people’s generosity to allow us to continue caring for people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses.”

Tickets to the Fayre are £5 per person but kids under-12 go free. All visitors must follow COVID guidelines and masks must be worn at all times within the hospice except for when seated.
